Privacy Policy

Mecha Watch does not collect, store or share any personal data. The app has no account, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking and no servers. Everything you create stays on your devices.

Data that stays on your device

• Your watches. Designs, names and winding history are saved in the app's storage on your iPhone and Apple Watch. They are removed when you delete the app.
• Motion and steps. If you allow Motion & Fitness access, the app reads motion and step counts to wind automatic watches. The data is used on device only to calculate winding. It is never stored beyond the resulting power reserve and never leaves your device.
• Camera. If you choose "Scan a shared watch", the camera reads a QR code in real time. No images or video are saved.
• Notifications. Power-reserve reminders are scheduled locally on your device.

iPhone and Apple Watch sync

Your iPhone and Apple Watch exchange watch designs and winding events directly using Apple's WatchConnectivity. This data does not pass through any server operated by us.

Sharing

When you share a watch as an image or QR code, the design is encoded into what you share. It is shared only with the people and apps you choose.

Purchases

The Mecha Atelier unlock is processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive your payment details or Apple ID. See Apple's Privacy Policy.

Children

The app does not collect data from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. If the app ever starts collecting data, this policy and the App Store privacy label will be updated first.
